I've spliced pieces using pieces of fuel/rubber tubing (also sold by the foot). If the vacuum hose fits tight you are fine. If not, add a couple tiny hose clamps.

The problem is that when the fan motor starts to go bad, it starts drawing too much current from its shorted windings. A good fan motor is supposed to draw something like 14-15 amps on its highest fan speed setting. Web12 feb 2024 · There are two different size hoses, smaller one on turbo controls and going to vane actuator, and slightly larger ones on supply hoses to turbo vacuum canister and HVAC going into inside of vehicle. I believe these were the sizes, but would have to go measure to be 100% sure since I had also ordered some 3.5mm hose. Smaller hose was 4mm (5/32)

The blower motor sits right next to the resistor or controller (resistor is for manual AC, controller is for automatic AC system), so the connector can be found on the blower motor itself. Since the state of the blower changes after switching ignition off/on, the problem can be inside the AC control panel.
