Throughout this paper, the challenges faced by the Vietnam veterans coming back home and the antiwar movement during 1965 to 1975 will be explored. WebThe American presence in Vietnam lasted from 1964-1972. America lost a lot in the war they put $111 billion into the war and lost 58,000 american lives and 300,000 were injured in the war. Many of the decisions in Vietnam were not the right decisions but these mistakes could be learned from for future wars like Vietnam.
